Something like this happened back when I used to work as a pizza delivery driver. There was a new kid driving a POS Tercel. It was so messed up that I don't think the e-brake or the transmission worked properly. One day while we were inside, the cops came in looking for the owner of the car. Apparently it had rolled backwards out of the parking lot and onto the busy street outside. It had ended up blocking traffic and someone called the cops. Once they found the kid, they wrote him a citation (not sure exactly what the charge was). The cops had also used their cruiser to push the car from behind to get it out of the lanes, and the kid was bítching about "damage" to his already fcked up, dented, scratched up POS car.
