Default Stupid Girl On Cellphone

<rant>
On the NJ Turnpike this morning on the way to work, i'm in the middle lane, and a ford focus in the right lane, a little ahead of me. i'm cruising along, just as i'm around the blind spot of the focus trying to pass it, the focus all of a sudden veers about 1/3 into my lane. i swerved to get out of her way, and by this time i've passed her. i slow down to allow her to catch up to me so i can at the very least stare her down, and i see that she's on the phone. so i ride next to her for a moment, and she gets off the phone, and doesnt even look my way (which i guess is what people are tought to fend of road ragers such as me...haha). had she at least threw up her hand as to say "sorry!", i would have let it go, but she didnt. so at this point, i'm steaming and i couldnt, just let it go. so i speed up a little ahead of her, (and yes, i know this is not very bright of me, feel free to flame if you'd like) and return the favor by swerving in to her lane on purpose. she catches up a little again, and i see her chuckling (obviously happy that she's pi$$ed me off), and proceeds to make another call!!!

the thought of tormenting her until i had to exit crossed my mind, but i finally let it go.

i hate people who feel it necessary to talk on the phone while driving. and if you swerve and almost hit me, at least have the decency to apologize by raising your hand or something. grrr....

I guess it coulda been worse, she could have actually hit me.

*exhale* ok. </rant>

haha. good story. i'm familiar with the NJ turnpike, as well as with damn cell phone talking female drivers.

So last nite, i'm pulling out of a side street to a 2-lane main road in my town, my view was a bit obstructed, but i didn't see any headlights, so i pulled out.

all of the sudden a "town car"ish car is flyin down the right lane (closest to the sidestreet), i pulled out halfway onto the shoulder. the guy stayed in the lane, as if he didnt' even see me, until he was about to run me off the road. we both honked.

at the light he rolled down his window and yelled at me to watch out. "Speed limit's 35 buddy!" i shouted back. He retorted. "35!!" i said again. HE called me a "rice Burner" lol, so i revved up to about 5 grand a few times with a big smile on my face. :D too funny.

i wouldve got in front of her then gradually slowed down until i was going about 1/3 of the speed limit, and when she tried to change lanes i wouldve swerved into the middle of 2 lanes so she couldnt...continue for a couple miles, then see whos angry, haha. Ive been thinking about makin a sign that says "Get off your F**king phone and Drive!" and just leaving it in my car. so when ever a situation like this happens, i can honk to get the persons attention, then when they look i will smile and wave for a second, then frown, give them a very dirty look and show them the sign.

if there's one thing i can't stand when i'm driving is people on their cellphone that and potholes but the cellphone is worse and the same thing happened to me where they didn't check if i was in the next lane but they still signaled to get in and almost hit me.

i had a stupid explorer on my a$$ a while ago, it was really heavy trafic and you couldnt even change lanes, he was literally inches from my bumper for like 5 miles till i got fed up, so i applied the brakes lightly and slowed down to about 20 in 60mph traffic he then turns into the median to pass me but i downshifted and sped off he couldnt get back on cuz of other cars! i was so happy!! LOL

It isn't a law here yet. It will be come July 1st. I'll be interested to see how heavily they enforce this law, because it seems like about 30% of all drivers are talking on their cellphones at any given time.

Yeah this should be interesting.....I wonder if they are going to be focusing more on the tC with the loud exhaust or the Sienna with a person on their cellphone...Hmmm.......

^^ Yeah texting and driving is ridiculous- I have a friend who was texting while going like 90mph in the fast lane......let's just say I had my eyes shut in the backseat and was praying for the best

Yea when i drive with my friend when he needs to text he tells me to steer the car. I guess its a little better that way still stupid but its better then the people who have no one to take the wheel and they start drifting into the other lane while there looking down at there cell phone.
