Ok, how many people have manage to break this stupid plastic stereo cover thigny.... its starting to go on me... not latching properly anymore. i thought it would be nice to have in case i upgrade to a lcd headunit... but if it doesn't close, that'll be stupid.

is there anyone out there that has a replacement for it? or a mod?

 

mine works fine. i like it. it gives the interior a nice clean look

 

well if it's not closing.. dealership visit is in order and a call to scion to replace it.. simple

plus there is a bad batch out there i had one last fall.. what are the last 4-5 digits of your VIN? always good to keep track of this..

 

when i first sat in the car, i knew that lid was gonna break over time so i rarely close it or use it. its like air conditioning in socal. you dont always need it but its good to use it from time to time to ensure that the freon still works.
