Default Suggested mods?

Hey all-

I'm new here and I'm thinking about getting a tC in the next few months, and wanted to know of any suggested mods (including dealer-installed options) that any of you could recommend. Also, please note I have little/no knowledge of aftermarket modifications, so please don't flame me . I'm from NY (Westchester Co.), so I'm naturally concerned about the winter, therefore I don't wanna go too crazy, but I also don't want it to look like a family sedan. I'm trying to keep everything under $20,000 (yes, that includes the car itself), which probably won't get me too far, but I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'm already thinking about tinting the windows and getting some front & side skirts. Again, any suggestions, references, websites, etc.. any of you could recommend would be great. Thanks...(and sorry if this has been posted already...I tried searching and didn't come up with anything)

trd lowering springs are always good. from what u posted it looks like u want more exterior mods, so i guess a c/f hood would be nice, but for performance theres the obvious intake header and exhause setup, i would also suggest a lightweight flywheel. remember to say no to aluminum wings and neon (on the tc).

Do the lowering springs really make a big difference in terms of appearance? I know it's already a nice-looking car, but I want something a little more eye-catching, and don't the springs lower it only about 30cm or something? Would that also be ok in the winter? Sorry if these are dumb questions, but like I said, I don't really know anything about this stuff. I'm still scatching my head wondering what a c/f hood is and how those performance mods would help me out :D . Is there anyplace online that breaks down all this stuff in layman's terms? And tcwanab, no fair- I wanted to be the first guy around here with the tC ...what color you gettin, by the way?

i think the trd springs drop it about 1.2 inches...and it does look nicer but being from socal i have no idea how it'll be in winter....c/f hood means carbon fiber hood

Might I recomend the PrecisionMuffler.com axle back tC version.

Not just for the xA and xB anymore! The tC is in the loop now! :D
