does anyone know of a web site, company, shop, or a place that makes replacement pieces to the sunroof like carbon fiber or plexy glass?

i gutted my car, i dropped my weight from 3100 down to 2800, still have more gutting to do, but if i can get the sunroof replaced, i can loose more weight, my goal is to get down 2400 or less.

did you weigh the car before you started? i thought they weighed about 2900 pounds, not 3100.

but yeah, i am curious about light weight replacement glass panals for the roof.

i know kaminari makes a cf roof, but the coolest thing about the tc is the moonroof, so i'd rather have light weight glass moon roof.

 

do a spec tC roof swap?

 

it isn't much lighter, it is just one big piece without hardware to open and close it.

 

i agree, the tC spec only has a gant glass piece but no hardware to open it.

what im really looking for is a plexy glass replacement, and yes if you do a CF swap it will save a lot of weight

yes i did weigh my car before and after, stock its as 3100lbs, even though the specs say 2900, thats prob the dry weight, but w/ a full tank a gas, and all fluids filled it weighs more.

now that its gutted i got to 2800, thats removing the side curtain SRS air bags, BOTH sides, i can post pics if any1 wants to c
