I don't know about racers, but I like my power windows and moonroof.

Plus, this would ____ me off if they did this, making a super light weight version of the tC....since our car weighs so damned much. I'd prefer the light weight car, I personally don't care for any features in my car, my last vehicle had none...

Whoever said that the tC will be the most expensive Scion? I have never heard anything like that.

Do you know anything about approximate time frame for any announcements about the RS tC?

the only thing i've personally heard from a rep is that they are trying to get the goverment to approve the supercharger so they can have it included in the MSRP sticker. thats the only thing i've heard.

I dont drive one either. The thing to look at. TRD S/C with a weight reduction of say just 200lbs. You would now have a car with a est: 200hp & 2,700Lbs for a power to weight of 13.5 compared to the stock 18.125.
yeah, but my point is, why remove the power windows? how much weight is that gonna save you?

Thats true, I would have no clue how much weight would be saved from taking out all the electric stuff & putting in mechanical. The power windows might weigh less idk. Also if it was set up for SCCA only, would it not use lexand windows? :?: :? not sure what SCCA rules are.

Nope it would not need lexan windows to be SCCA compliant Chucksu.

I have a “friend” that works for Toyota’s national Headquarters in Cali. I went over there the other day “with my friend” and saw with my own eyes this vehicle you speak of. The hood, glass roof, and trunk lid are all replaced with carbon fiber. It is supercharged and looks pretty bad ___. After work I’ll “have my friend” go out side and see if the TC has power anything (windows, locks, ect).

Yeah its a little odd for a first post with a join date of today. I would still love to see The Hood, Roof, Hatch as a option. If they did these things, I just might get a tC. They can keep the S/C, I would think a good Turbo should be out sometime soon.

I love how us moderators have the little IP button that shows all of the usernames that have posted from a single IP address. You my friend, are busted!

Someone here is creating multiple accounts and posting rumors (or outright lies, apparently) with them from the same computer. Mods can catch that.

shady.

Really? Well, at work, I am behind a firewall/router and on a private network. Same at home. So if I were to make an account, and a coworker were to make an account, they would show up as coming from the same IP address, wouldn't they? Otherwise, if you can see the IP of the actuall computer, and not the router, then a lot of people would most likely end up with a 192.168.x.xxx number, wouldn't they?

So how can you be sure that this is not someone from the same office behind a router?
