I think I've seen that s/c setup somewhere else on this website, along with the Blitz s/c. My guess would be either s/c would add maybe another 30 hp. At $3K, that's kinda pricey for only 30 hp ($100 per hp). But, I've read posts from folks who've put a s/c on their xBs, and it seems to change the nature of the beast!

I'd like to see one of these tuners come up with some kind of engine swap kit instead, using the 170hp Corolla XRS engine, or better yet, a 24-valve V6! There's enough room in the engine bay for that. Just depends on how much $ someone wants to spend. Next TDY I go on, I'd be willing to leave my xB with a tuner to use as a prototype for a V6 engine swap! Oh well, never hurts to dream...!

No way you are going to fit a 1MZ-FE or 3MZ-FE into the Scion engine bay. A ZZ-series engine is possible though.

the overall hp number on all the supercharge kits aren't too high cause our engine is rated low to begin with. but if you look at it overall percentage they ain't bad. look at the blitz s/c kit for example putting out 30hp = 30+% gain. a 30+% gain is real good if you compare it to supercharge kits for other cars. a good example a 350z has about 280hp add a stillen supercharge kit and it's bumped up to 340. that's only about a 20+% gain. so in comparison i don't think the $3k price tag for a 30% gain vs a $4k price tag for a 20% gain is too bad.
