Default Supercharger insurance

i was just wondering.......... once the supercharger comes out, say i get it installed at the dealer. Am i suppose to notify my insurance so they can raise my rates?

u don't have to, but keep in mind if u crash and something happens to the sc there are some companies that won't cover it. u can actually get modification insurance with most companies. i know with geico i could insure almost every mod i had, from the hood to headlights, etc.

i never got it, but i think for about $3k of mods it was $40 for six months w/ geico.
