i drove the car about 50 miles after the accident, engine didnt overheat, runs fine still, and alignment was still fine. im just wondering if anyone knows how much this will cost to fix.

incase you wanted to know, i fell asleep in traffic. worst way to wake up...

pretty depressing. [/img]

Dooooode. No bueno. Worse case the bumper cover alone is about $650 installed, a factory hood will probably be in the same neighborhood, plus there's new hood latch hardware, and possibly a new radiator assuming it's damaged.

Yo, man. sorry to see what happened to your tc. But that is exactly the same situation i was in about 5 months ago. I re ended someone going 5-10miles during traffic on my way to school...fell asleep and the BAM! good thing my engine didn't shift. it was jsut my radiator but nothing serious. had to replace right cracked headlamp, right fender, and hood. needed new paint job, and paint everything for about 3gs. Hope you were alright man, for you and your car.

This helps me but so does rolling down the window when it's cold out, for that great start in the morning or you can even turn up the music loud and listen to some hard rock.

then again you can go to bed earlier...

but in all seriousness sorry man I hope things work out for you.

usually when i get cold, i get sleepy. so that might not always work having your windows down..

but for sure sleeping earlier is the best method..

thanks for putting the pictures up!

I worked 50 hours, and tried to go to school every day.. got like 4 hours of sleep all week, and friday i thought i was set.. drank like 2 monsters, had my music loud as ish.. and still snooze time..

FIREDOG.. depending on the cost of origional toyota hood and bumper, i might just get aftermarket, they would look better anyway.

I just went to the shop, front bumper cosmetic, so new bumper cover, hood is scrap for sure, front support piece is garbage, hood latch, hood hinges, radiator, shroud, and a/c cooler. paint blending to the fenders. they are calling me later today with an estimate ill let you know what its looking like.

point is.. dont drive tired. period, this is what happens. luckily i was in stop and go traffic on the 5 fwy , if i was cruising at 70 and went off the fwy, who knows. its expensive and depressing, i would trade this for leaving the next day and missing some friday night action now... cant get anywhere with a smashed up car ;)
