I ran into a nice guy last night and he was telling me all about his new Scion (he pronounced it sky-on)

My sky-on has this

My Sky-on is this fast
...
etc

I didnt have the heart to tell him the truth about his new ride.

Has anyone heard this before?

 

Usually just from people who don't have one... poor guy.

 

I mean with all the skyon ads on the radio how could this guy...

I took a Political Skyience class in college.

 

I actually had to give my mom a lesson in how to pronounce Scion when I got it. She kept pronouncing it sky-on. My wife and I laughed at that . . .

 

Yup, i never thought i'd hear it in person, but some guy actually called my car a sky-on once.

 

funny that i stumbled upon this thread because yesterday at the gas staion some guy was like hey is that skion? all i said was oh you mean scion? yes it is.

 

omg, up at my school, there was this guy with a white 05 tc auto with verticle doors. i chatted with him. he told me that they put a superchip on his car and it dyno'ed 215 whp. i was struggling to continue talking to him without just laughing in his face about how wrong he was. i was like 215 whp auto...with a chip...are you sure it isn't supercharged...with a pulley and tuned...and he insisted it was just a chip...no forced induction.

i shoulda done some comparative driving with him to show that he had nothing but a lie.

 

I have customes call it skyon at times at first I would try and correct them and even after saying something they would still call it a skyon. I think I some how made them feel stupid. Go Figure! Well anymore I just let it go call it what you want we all know its a Scion skyon creek or creik its all the same.

my parents introduced me to the skyon when i was lookin at cars they were like wut about the skyon i was like whaaaaaat checked it out and was like oooooo ok and bought one hahaha

 

im barely pushing 215whp with my supercharger and my 9.5 pulley..... (among other upgrades) If I knew there was a chip that I could use, I could've saved a lot of money, and have more than 215 because I have a 5sp.
