I don't know why people have a problem with mid-life crissis cars.

If it was not for those guys in their 50's buying such cars, surely there were no sports cars at all.

I just don't think that sales of sports cars would survive solely on 20-30 years old customers. Not many of them have the money to buy anything beyond 30K without seriously compromising their budgets. Therefore, we would only have cheap and boring cars; those that kiddies could afford by themselves.

So, mid-life crissis customers are necessary for car companies to produce great cars, even if kiddies don't like it.

Finally, mature people wont complain about 30+ people driving SCIONS. It is something that only matters to kiddies, but who cares, they don't really buy cars anyway, their parents do it for them.

NICE Elise!!!! To go out and purchase a car that is a perfect toy, you cant beat that lotus!!! They are using Toyota engines now, weigh less than 1900 lbs, are 190 HP, and handle like they are on tracks! Not to mention they are in the mid 40s, instead of 70s like many sports cars like them.

It is funny to see that most of us agree on the complete stupidity of calling something a "midlife crisis car" aside from a couple of obviously immature people, who are actually admitting they plan on turning 30 and becoming old men suddenly.... such a shame!! I,m sure that there will be some boring car out there waiting for them, and their wives (if they have wives) will be really happy to be married to some boring old idiot that wont do certain things to avoid the image of midlife crisis I have to admit that this has been one of the more entertaining threads I have seen in a while though

Go cry to your momma since you didn't like the retort against "YOUR OPINION". Why the use of caps and aterisks? To get your point across? Nope to highlight your original spelling error.
You are quite the writer and have an exquisite way of expressing yourself (sarcasm).
Take your head out a$$hat!

Hey, I was just trying to show you that your opinion might come off a little... strong.

This is a reasonable opinion: I think the tC is a better car for younger persons

This is not: No one over 30 should drive one, they look stupid in them.

You are entitled to your opinion, of course. However, I think a lot of us might ask you work on your.. wording. Cheers! Go outside an motor today, it is Saturday.

I agree with Engifineer, any of you who define a person's character through the car they drive simply do not have enough personality on your own. Your things don't define who you are, and if you feel they do, you probably don't have much of a persona anyways.
