Congrats on the time, how many miles do you have on your car now? I've got about 2800.. i'd like to go to the track soon so i can get some stock times before doing mods.. especially now that the weather is starting to cool down I say its time to start a friendly competition for quickest stock TC hehehe

2.44 60ft?? How are you launching? You're running a good time for a stock car, but that 60ft stinks. If you do a lot of drag or racing from a stop, your money is probably best spent on stickier tires. A 2.1 or 2.2 60ft would get you low 15's, but wouldn't do much for the trap speed.

What are the "published" numbers? 15.8@86?

stock, the tC ran the 1/4 in 15.7
so ur just bout where they rated it at...
i would have run at MIR and beaten that time, but they wouldn't let me show and run...so i just showed....

now im not sayin u can't drive, but u r at where u should be for a stock car...
the only reason i think i would have done better is i kno the car inside/out, ive been racing cars since i was 14(from drag-street)...once u get to kno ur car a lil better and get a better launch, i think u can pull that time down a lil bit...

good job for first run man

the xB that ran is a customer from my dealership, the chrome wheels were slowing him down...ran a 18.6

i have also been running since i was 15 ish - been building cars my whole life with my dad - never been sponcered or raced for a team though - but i know motors real well - i do need a lil more time to get used to the tC like i said a different stall converter and a set of slicks up front will def drop the time down

the average time for a STOCK tC to run is 15.7 in the 1/4mile

if u can get lower than that, awesome, if not...no sweat...its stock

i currently own a 98 gti vr6 stock and i raced a guy from work who owns a new tc with trd exhaust and CAI. i got him from a roll and stop, got a few car lenths on him. good race, much better than trying a honda. scion has a great coupe, i hope to sell my vr6 and get a scion here within a year.
