ok back to the topic...... I like the headunit. Almost all gps services dont require monthly fees and normally come w/ one dvd that has either a section of the usa (which for almost everybody is just fine) or the dvd has the whole usa (it depends on the unit u get).

too bad the dealership forgot to tell you never top off the fuel tank. Same deal as all new Toyota's and many other new car brands. There is a charcoal filter in the filler neck.... when you top off the gas, gas splashes into the filter. When the filter is full, engine light / malfunction light comes on and the new filter is several hundred dollars and Toyota will not cover it under warranty.

can't wait to see the navi pics, how well does the unit work with the pop up door infront of the stereo?? slide out unit?
What is this about topping it off? WTF is that true? Im so mad now. I got my TC a few weeks ago and I filled up in NJ and the guy more than topped it off. Like he put in 2 extra bucks after it stopped. If I don't really top off again will this have any affect?

Yes, the topping off thing is true. That's why there are those stickers telling us NOT to top-off.

Had some engine light issues with our Toyota due to topping-off. ><

GPS is free as long as you have a GPS device. The satellite is provided by the US Govt. Actually the GPS devices u buy have already contributed to the "service fee" of your GPS service.

Navi = Navigation!
GPS devices is helping you to find the right track to get u to the destination, that is Navigation. So...GPS = navigation....

oh, I was about to ask if you lost the radio until I saw the pics. Looks good, I'd buy one in the event that I needed it.

Yeah that's not true about the gas. I've been filling my car up 14 to 15 gallons every time. I do this by pulling out the gas pump and just letting the gas fall down the hole, I fill it for like an extra 3 gallons until you can actually see the gas in the gas pump hole and it stops seeping down in. Haven't had any problems or engine check lights and I get way more off a tank.
