Maroon would look soooo much better than red on that car, if a maroon is even made.

I wouldnt bring bright red attention to a tiny little caliper anyway, its not like a formula one brake system setup that looks cool.
its just a very efficient, well made Camry brake caliper ,

ughhh

personally, i like to see a big rotor/caliper setup through a rim; if its not a monobloc caliper riding on a big rotor, i'd rather keep it stock and inconspicuous...

just my 2 cents there.

So you all think red calipers go well with Black Cherry Pearl? Yellow Calipers will make me the laughing matter?

So I guess its Red then...

Red and Blue look nice. I have seen silver as well and it looks ok too. But make sure you do all 4 calipers please.

I don't like the look of painted stock calipers. imo The brakes work fine but look tiny in a 17" wheel and the paint makes this even more obvious.

But I will admit it is something to do that is very inexpensive and if you like the look,
great!

Good luck,

Hey all.. I painted the first layer on the calipers. I was wondering if I can take the car out to do some errands and come back and do the second and third coats. The paint is now dry and i put the wheels back on. What do you guys think?

Does a coat of clear coat stay on during high temperatures?

Thanks all.

In answer to this: you can do whichever you want, or both. I've seen a lot that do both pf them, personally I only did the "top part" because that's how I like it, but its totally up to you.

Here is what it looked like on stock 18"s - the newspaper is still there for it to dry overnight "just in case"

When I removed the wheels, I saw the brake disk and the caliper. For those who attempted at this please help. Please keep flames to a minimum. I am new at this.

I saw there are 2 parts to the caliper:

1. the bottom part,
2. the top part.

The bottom part is close to the disc and the top sits on the bottom part. Do I paint both of these? Or whould it lead to problems?

Could anyone please direct me to the right way to do this please. Greatly appreciate your help.
