Hi all,

I've read the FAQs and searched the fora, but can't find the info that was alluded to in another thread about the new tC Pioneer's HU being customizable?
I read about changing the SSP settings, and that you can change the "SCION" or power-on text.

Does anyone have that info handy on how to do that?

I have the newer, Pioneer on my tC, and the buttons are not the same...that's what I was looking for, but I did not put that in the OP.

i also noticed that in the maunal, you can change the welcome message so it displays the word "scion" in japanese characters. although it tells you to hold the "A" button on the unit, there is no "A" button on the stock single disc unit. so does that only applies to the 6-disc changer unit? thanks.

"A" is for changing the bass and fad, balance, treb.....that sort of stuff....so you cant change those? i can change my scion welcome thing to any thing i want....right now it says F*CK_YOU......hahahaha
