Agreed.

As far as the box, thats exactly what it is! I guess some people are just afraid of something different for a change. Oh well, I bought it for me, not anyone else.

That's not necessarily true, my last car I've had for 2 years and it was stick. This time around I didn't want stick because it's a pain to have, only in traffic any other time I didn't mind it so much. But ya, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I like the box better than I like the Element, which seems too tall for me and not cute enough.

By the way, like the picture of Dominic, it reminds me, Lost is on tonight!

Yes...Dom is the hotness.

I'm waiting for Lost to come out on DVD. I don't want to start watching so late in the series, I've already missed too much!

Default tC a girls car?!

HAHA I started laughing when i saw this post...Actually, my exboyfriend drives a celica (TOTALLY a girls car) and everyone always made fun of him. For a celica, yes. For a tC i think it all depends on whose driving it and what the person looks like in the drives seat...if they can pull it off, more power to ya! Whats more irresistable than a blonde chick driving a black 5 speed tC?!

For a ___ man such as myself, I find a stick an essential driving tool .

And yes I did drive a Celica, which my boyfriend described not just as a "chick car" but a "secretary's car" but I couldn't resist the Absolutely red. I'm a sucker for red.

Anyone that is so insecure about them selves that they have to rip into others because of the style of another persons car is an idiot. (Unless you are talking about the PT Looser). There are only two types of cars, An ugly car, and a cool looking car. theres no chick/guy car. Ive seen some of the biggest raised trucks and thought how cool it would be to have it, and a chick in a short skirt slides out of the drivers seat. So think before you make a comment about someone elses car. You might end up eating those words.

HA!

I had a Celica too. Mine was Spectra Blue, though.

and a celica GTS with equal mods and decent driver would lay waste to your RSX.

I liked the celica, it was fun and sporty, although that big ___ antenna had to go quick. The blue was cool. They're retiring that car soon, aren't they? I had three celicas, my first car was a 1980 brown celica that was 13 years old when I got my license, my second car was a 9-year-old 1987 celica and my final one was the 2000.

But alas, my four-year-old celica met an untimely death in Nov. 2004 when it a freak rain storm triggered a flood and I drove out of my parking lot straight into a big flood, my engine and electrical system were totalled. Two months later, after the insurance was convinced I didn't actually pour the water into my engine myself (and why would anyone do that?), I picked up a tC. I only had to wait a week.

Sounds cool. I loved mine but got into an accident with it and it never felt the same after. I eventually traded it in for something I regret getting, then traded that in for the xB. Toyota rocks!

ok, that came out of nowhere. how can you sit there and think that a celica can beat a type S? stock for stock it can't beat it so what makes you think it can beat me w/ the same mods that i have? don't get me wrong, celicas are fast cars but not faster than a type S. some people think that it's a drivers race between these two cars. so even if they are right how in the hell can a celica "lay waste" on an rsx type S? i would say something about your 90 whp xb but i'm sure you will come back w/ a line saying that you got a vette in the garage right?

Yeah. My ex-Marine buddy drives a Celica GTS. I'd better tell him to sell it pronto, before someone laughs at him, or someting.
I guess any nice-looking, sport compact is now considered a 'chick car.'

Guys are supposed to drive big, ugly trucks, right? Otherwise we're driving chick cars... And no one wants to hear they drive a chick car!

Man. I'm gonna go sell my tC and buy a pre-2000 Chevy or Ford truck, slap some four-foot-high coilovers and shocks on it, put 50" knobby tires on it, and spray-paint the whole assembly primer grey.

Because I don't want nobody thinkin' I drive a chick car! They might laugh at me! Oh noooooooooooooo!

I voted no, but of course this vote will win because 90% of this board are biased and male dominated! Post this poll on another non-tC car board and you might get different results.

whoa....ex-marine. dude who cares if he's an ex-marine. i'm an ex marine as well. 2nd Combat Engineer Batallion to be exact. what does that have to do w/ anything? dude, you need to chill. i wasn't being serious about the celica being a chicks car. tc owners in here said that they were, so why don't you go quote them? and i never said a tc was a chicks car. there is no such thing as a chicks car. they don't make cars specifically for men or women. they would lose alot of money if they did that. that truck idea was pretty good tho.
