So today I get up to go to school, and I start driving south down PCH, and for the first time scince I got my car over a month ago, this was the first time I have seen another tC. So I see a super white tC parked infront of a house somewhere along the 19000 block area of PCH, I I thought oh, cool another tc. I keep driving along, hit traffic around Topanga canyon, and while sitting in traffic, what do I see but 2 Azure Pearl tC going northbound on PCH stuck in traffic on the other side somewhere between 8:00 and 8:30. So now I'm like wow this is a major coincidence, weird. I arrive at school now, its around 9:00-9:30 ish, and I'm in parking structure C, when I see a girl parked waiting for a spot sitting in a Silver Streak Mica, and another guy driving around in a Flint Mica with something like 20-35% tint all around. So I'm thinking is the tC going to be another civic, or camry where you look around every corner, and one is there? Anyways, just thought that is was weird that I havn't seen any other tC's on the road for over a month, and then today I see 5. Lucky for me I was the only Black Sand Pearl, and was the only one who didn't have stock suspension, so my car I still has some uniqueness.

 

come down to torrance and you will see a million of them on the road. come to work with me at corporate hq and that is all you will see in every other parking space

 

i have seen about 5 tC's total since they came out around here. they aren't too popular, actually scion's in general aren't too popular, i live near cleveland ohio.

i had a day like yours, i saw 4 xA's...

 

That sucks, I kind of liked it when I was the only tC on the road.

 

Damn thats so late for school. Is that college or what? So far Im the only one in my high school with a Scion. I saw a few Scions when I went to Florida and one where I live. Hopefully I wont see more although in the summer Im sure a lot more will sell. I just ordered blue lights for the front park lights and I need to get a tint.

your kidding right? I wouldn't want to own a tC where you live. On Guam, I see one maybe once a week. Twice if Im lucky.

 

Me too, I wanted a different car from everyone else. I just thought it was strange that the first time I see another tC on the road, I see 5 others, then after I posted this post, I see a black one on Kanan Dume near my house that has been totaled! WEIRD

 

yeh i can relate man..you know what its living in SoCal, i alone personally know 4 other people with tC's. I've actually only seen one or two on the road, and i saw a flint mica like mine but lowered, it was orgasmic..speaking of suspension how much did the TRD suspension components cost you? i live in OC i see on average 5-7 a day half of them usually the same one's but always see new ones. no plates. no mods. so im happy im the only modded TC. it turns heads

 

theres about 4 tC at my school the only color missing is the BSP, AP. I think its pretty cool how theres no overlap of color. But there shouldn't be a reason why the tC shouldn't be popular.

 

There are 3 people at my high school that own a tC. (not including me) and 1 that owns an xB.

 

Well atleast no one else in my city owns a tC. I think there might be 2 or 3 boxes around. I know of 1 for sure.

 

ive seen a total of 3 tCs on the road around here total since they came out. two driving and one in a parking spot. it's neat that there isnt many around.

 

Within in like five minutes i saw 5 tc's on my way from school. All different colors except for the FM. The TC invasion begins !!!

In socal there are plenty of tC's though I still see maybe 2 a day. Used to be the same with my WRX though now I see tons of those, STi's and EVO's.

With Toyota no longer making the Celica we will probbaly see more tC's in the next months and they'll probably become like the new Civics. I hope Scion keeps with the changing models every 3 months to keep things fresh.

Hey, at least it's not like the G35/350Z's...sweet cars but I swear I see about 25 a day!!

 

In the NYC/Westchester area there aren't many tCs out. I have seen about 7 or 8 most since they came out June 2004. Flint Micas specially. I think I have seen 3 so far (including mine). Last week I pulled into a gas station in New Rochelle, NY and someone asked me what car was that? I answered, a scion tC. He said "cool, nice car!"

I still have a sense of exclusivity when driving my tC
