alright i did a butt load of research and i think i know what the problem is........we flashed the slave chip on the fic but we didn't flash the main chip......from what i gather if your using the fic program update 3.04 (which you are...that's what we initially loaded on your puter) you need to flash the main chip with x300.hex.......i didnt have to do this on mine cause i think that hex file was already in the original software disk that came with the fic or when i updated the software it automaticaly flashed the fic....im not real sure on this but i am sure you need x300.hex......ima find out wher it is and what it really does....ill holler atcha later with more info.
I went with the PowerSlots because I have used their product before and I was satisfied with the performance. That's the only reason.
Almost done with that cup of coffee Chris, almost.

As a temporary fix until I get my pieces (manifold/exhaust housing on turbo) for coating I was thinking about getting a Turbo Blanket. They are a bit pricey, but a functional and can provide an additional clean look to the turbo.
The PTP Blanket in black is what I am eye balling currently.

So I got it in. It doesn't like to bend, so I took off the DP. Here is the pictorial results of that.

I figured I should post the pics here as well.

So I finally did two more mods: Mishimoto fan shroud with two fans and deversion panel (from the ZPI tC).

Fans work. So far, seems like it has been worth the 3 hours of shifting it back and forth between the turbo and radiator getting in there.

You don't have to. You could probably use other fans, but it was just easier to buy the whole thing and install it. I still have my 12" 2400CFM fan on the front. So I'm running 3 fans now.
Not to mention it took 6 hours. Most of it fighting intercooler pipes (putting back together) and manuvering the fan shroud into place. The latter taking up 3 hours alone.

oh and btw id like to see how many of you switched to the mish rad and are having cooling issues...i just noticed that some are having problems but i dont think its the rad itself. just curious.
I think it can take upto 10" fans. Definately CANNOT take a 14" fan. I still have my 12" 2400CFM fan on the front drivers side.
When I'm driving, ambient temperature below 95F, my WT will stay around 177F which is awesome.

So the car has been untouched for awhile, pretty much just been enjoying it since that video was made.
One recent development though: the magic smoke has started to come out the exhaust.
Light smoke. I'm think turbo seals. In while I'll bring it out to Crush and see what we can find out.
