Default tC gas mileage

The tC has the same engine as a 4 cylinder camry, but the gas mileage of a tC is equivalent to a V6 camry. Why such the big difference? The 4 cyclinder camry get's way better mpg than a tc....that's not fair.

but locals....jk, the curb weights are different and more. the camry is 3164 and the tC is 2905. heavier car=more fuel burned. just a theory.
