Default tC Interior cubby hole light question???

Does anyone know how to turn off, or if it does, the little light inside the cubby hole underneath the radio in the center console. It bugs me that there is another light inside my car when it's night. I could easily pull the bulb out, but that would defeat the purpose of being able to see in that little pocket.

So it bugs you that you can see the light at night, but you don't want to pull it because then you wouldn't be able to see into it? haha

this question was asked before. i think basically people either blocked it off with black tape, put over a different colored film to change the color, or destroy it...
i don't remember them saying that they could just easily pull it out. someone said something about it being a unremovable LED. but i don't know.
so basically this reply is worthless. yippee!

Do a search. Has been posted before. Most of taking out the bulb and replacing with another colored bulb. Somebody even put a gel type substance on the bulb to change colors.

Put a switch on it, then you can turn it on whenever you need light there.

uhhh...it's replaceable. i replaced mine with a blue LED, took 2 seconds, and costed next to nothing. such a better alternative to putting stupid film there.

i just took mine out last night with a pair of needle nose pliers......it comes right out of the light socket! easy fix because i like to turn off all my dash lights and have it completely dark inside the car while driving.....

well its useful when I need it, but when i don't, theres no option besides customizing it to turn the damn thing off. bugs me almost as much as the seatbelt buzz (which i know how to do so dont worry about postin about it). I might try the switch route, was thinkin about it before but wasnt sure if it was worth the hasle of customizing a switch for something as miniscule as that. will show pics if i do

don't use needlenose unless you want to risk cracking the bulb. i just reached around the passenger side seat and took it out.
