You have to register and everything, but next to the xB decoder there is the new Red tC

I posted this already, but at the time they didn't have the red pic. I guess it's now official.

I don't like red per se but if this comes with the s/c for under $20,000 I'll be ____ed since all of us tC owners will have to pay more than taht to have it added afterwards.

Though now it sounds like it the s/c won't be out by then...

Anyone notice the xA RS2.0's picture says it's available May 1st but under the pic is says April 5th?

I think you can start playing the game using the xA decoder on the April 5, but the actual car isnt out until May. Kinda like the tC isnt out till April 1, but you can play the game now...

It wont be supercharged-it will have the ff: A unique grille, color tuned fabric, sport muffler, pedals a tower brace-pending, numbered badges and door sill applique-and why would it cost more to have the sc installed after the purchase? They are supposed to be pure priced even after purchase-if not that dealership is screwing you.

I heard a rumor that the tC 1.0 would be s/c from the factory plus all the other goodies for under $20,000

if that was the case then all of us tC owners who paid around $17,000 (at least) would have to shell out another $4-5 grand to get the s/c installed from the dealer...basically putting us over $20,000. Looks like that's not happening anyways...

 

i say we boycott the TRD SC until they lower the price. :D

 

So its definitely not gonna have an SC now? Is that straight from scion, detroit scion? It's handy to have dealers on the forum.

If it doesn't have an SC, I wonder if that means the SC date is being pushed back some more and couldn't be cleared in time for this edition? I still look forward to the new stuff on it though, curious what the unique grill looks like.

 

The main reason why the SC has been delayed is because of the EPA. We had originally planned on letting Vortech do an ECU flash on our computer in the car, and cover the whole install under OUR warranty. But if we cover it under warranty, then that means that it is considered a Toyota, which means that the EPA looks at it differently with regards to emmissions and fuel economy. That has been the hold up thus far.

So, to recap, no SC on the RS1.0, but available shortly thereafter.

And Marcelino is right - the SC will not cost any more after the fact. All of our accessory pricing includes the installation labor.

P.S. The RS2.0 xA will be Speedway Blue, not black like in the picture. It's the same blue used on the Tacoma X-Runner truck, which you can see in Gran Turismo 4.

 

first post here, although I am not a newb when it comes to the TC. Had a question, do the release series come in auto trans??

 

The date on the picture is when it will be released.
The date under the pic is when the "decoder" for the game is available.
