I read on consumerreports.org that there is a scion tC coupe TRD MT and a coupe MT. The TRD running a 0-60 time of 7.2 sec and the MT at 8.8. Is this correct are there 2 different types of tC's? If so how can you tell the difference between the two?

 

? there's only one type.... unless you count the tC spec as another one....

or were they thinking about a tC that had the TRD s/c in it?

 

i dont even know what TRD means haha so it just had two options for the tC i dont really know why i just wanted to know what it means.

 

TRD = Toyota Racing Development

a completely different company seperate from toyota...

 

Oh.... so what is the real 0-60 time for the tC? 8.8 sec?

yea im pretty sure the TRD SC [stock] tC can pull a 6.5 on the 0-60. while the stock tC runs between 7.5-8.0 seconds.

I think thats a pretty fair estimate. Of course everybodys numbers will vary.
