+ size? That the new PC way of saying fat people?

This car has tons of room for a coupe. Coupes in general aren't for fatties, I mean plus sized people.

I'm 6'2" 255lbs...I sit quite comfortably, and even in the backseat (which is why I felt the tC kicked butt over the RSX-S, TiburonGT, EP CivicSI, etc)

I found a solution for my leg cramps after 40 mnutes of driving, wear different shoes. My construction work boots have about a 3/4 inch sole and I found some shoes with about a 1/4" sole - problem solved.

If you can't fit in the car

Time to walk places instead of drive

wtf? apparently the tC is a body builder's car. everyone 6' and 250+ has no problem in the seating. criminy, i'm the little guy at 6', 175 and i'm rarely comfortable in the seat on long drives. i get hip pains. i have to shift around often....i have to lean my right knee against the center console while i lean to the left, etc., i was complaining about this a year ago in nearly my first post. i took forever to find a seat position that was comfortable. even now it's only comfortable for about an hour (i drive a lot more than that every day).

it ain't about weight to me....it's about cabin design; without a telescopic, tilt wheel either my arms or legs are being strained.

btw, my friends call me "Rex"...as in Tyrannosaurus....jk

Have you adjusted your seat height maybe? The angle you're sitting at could be causing the pain. I find if my seat is too low I'll get Lower back pains and too high i'll get hip pains. But there's a pretty wide sweet-spot.

Are you kidding me?

The tC's wide **** (literally) seats were designed exclusively for fat Americans.

There's a reason they offer no lateral support whatsoever, Toyota thinks we're all fat lazy pigs over here.

yeah , its a sin to not have a telescopinng wheel. Im very awkward in the tC but cars like the mazda 3 etc which I can pull the wheel close and not feel like im 20 feet back just to get my legs under, are sooo much nicer to drive

I'm 6'1" and also do the "seat slightly reclined" thing to fit in well, and I also had the "uncomfortable to reach the top of the steering wheel on long drives" thing, and then my wife showed me that the steering wheel tilts.

Boy did I feel dumb that day...

Anyhow, its no substitute for a telescoping wheel, but give the tilt a try - in my case, it made all the difference...

i did. it still needs a telescopic, tilt wheel imo. the inch or so of tilt did nothing for me with regard to comfort. it seemed kinda an afterthought imo.

My dad is about 6'5" and 265lbs, sitting in the pass. seat he didn't look too comfortable...

If he was sitting in the driver's seat I think he'd be ok since the seat adjusts down.
