I know at 74mph (cruise control for 65mph zone) it's about 3300... and I did the math once to calculate that every 100rpms is 2mph... so I'd say 3600 would be 80mph using that logic.
I think what I did was...
top speed rpm - current speed rpm = difference
6250-3300 = ~3000...
Well the car can go a little over 53mph faster... so take 3000/53 = 56 rpms per each mph... so 6mph faster would be roughly 300 more rpms... 3600
