yes. me. even my brother in law that has been driving stick for about 15 years now has some rocky shifts in my car.
unless you drive super slow and work the clutch alot, it will be bumpy when shifting. i'm thinking its because of a hydraulic clutch and the drive by wire system

We ain't there now, but my wife and I spent the last 6 years in Chicago. We had a '99 RAV4 that she's now driving (to be replaced once I finish up paying for my tC).

Obviously I can't comment on the automatic version of the tC, but I can on the importance of warming the car up before you go anywhere in the middle of winter. One of the best things we ever did to her RAV was to have a remote start fitted. Push the button, look to check that it saw the signal and started, then jump in 5-10 minutes later after it's warmed up. No more having to head out into the cold just to warm the car up, and no more having to leave a key in the car while it's running.

That little RAV was a trooper. It's now starting to show its age in a bunch of ways, but even if it was -30F outside it would fire up first time, every time, and wouldn't complain at having to run in the cold. Even with standard tyres, it was great in the snow - very predictable.

Thankfully neither we nor my tC will ever have to face anything like that again. :D

Anyone have more info on the 2-3 shift delay on the tC Auto tranny? I wonder how it all worked out in the end?

remote starts are a great thing for those cold winter days to get ur ride warmed up..

as for the auto tranny please be sure to get the full tranny flush at 20k and not one of those specials "tranny drain and fill" itll help ur tranny stay in good condition.

I just changed it out at 25K and it was smelling pretty nasty for such low miles.

I would like to put full synthetic auto trans fluid in my car......was wondering if you tried the mobil 3309.....and if you did....how it's working out for you...any problems?
