tC TYC taillights are out, difficult to install by DIY?
I just had the TYC tails put on my SSM tC...they actually look nice! I have had two customers ask about them in the hour I have had it parked outside.
As for DIY, I don't know, but the tech told me you have to take the rear bumper off to install them. They are just plug and play, but getting to that point takes some work.
I will take some pics of my car, and try to post them. For some reason, I can never get pics to post on here, but I will try!

I think, according to the repair manual, that the headlights are the same way--you must take the front bumper off.... this is very irritating. You know what else I find very interesting? The rubber that surrounds the front headlight... it is sure to wear out soon, and it is on many cars. It is no secret that they calculate how much money they will make on a car through the life of the car.
I replaced mine and they look great and everyone that has seen my car agrees!! Even other tc owners saw them and want them so bad I may need to keep an eye on my ride and make sure they are still on there. As far as installin gthe lights it took me an hour cause I didnt read the direction that came with them. If you cant install them yourselves then either you dont have arms or you have no brain...
I saw them in person the other day on a BCP that a dealership brought out to the track. They looked a lot better than the original pictures I had seen of them. I'm seriously considering investing in them.
i wish they could have just picked a two color scheme (red/clear) rather than trying to force 3 colors. it also has 3 distinct different designs in it, that kind of clash in my opinion. i dont think i'd put them on my car, but if you like em, by all means get em and enjoy em!
