I had a personalized tag when I lived in IL and NC, but when I moved to GA I opted to not have one anymore.
Reason being?
Vanity tags, you're right make you appear unique, but they also increase your chance of being a target ( for those looking to f around or for road rage ). ( I'm also not always the most courteous driver, Atlanta doesn't help for that fact. )
I mentioned this to my buddy who has a tricked out xB, and he told me he had never thought of it that way and had wished that I had told him that before he got his personalized tag.
Just my two cents.

I definitely agree!!! I live in Atlanta also, and let's just say there's a lot of road rage (guilty, of course), but it's quite easy to remember personalized tags... so if you think you can get away with it, go for it. But if you're a maniac driver, be cautious!!!
