Chitown, no worries, I wouldn't do a fast and furious type theme plate for myself either... but I understand that some people just want to have fun and go for it. They can have fun and I'll chuckle at their humorous plates.

In fact, since I've gotten my baby, I've wanted to get a vanity plate. Never had one before... think I'll get one now, likely it'll just be my cars name.

I also saw one once that was 3M TA3 on his front plate, but I think it was phony and not a real lisence plate.

Its rather distinctive in a rear-view mirror...

I had vanity plates on my Civic, it was cool at first but now that I traded it in for a tc I couldn't transfer them cuz they were Civic specific. So just keep in mind that if u plan on getting a different car in the future you won't be able to take ur plates with you, cuz they would just look weird.

Mine read EM2NV (EM2 being the 02 civic chassis code). I still have it, took it off the car b4 handing it over to the dealer.

My new ones just say Armed Forces Veteran on them, which is cool anyway

And 3rd is SCIONRA.
You do know that "sayonara" means "goodbye" in Japanese, right? That's a pretty cocky/speed oriented statement right there, you're saying you're leaving everyone else in the dust.

Yes. I know the meaning. I don't think SCIONRA is a cocky or speed statement. I can see your point but that's not the true concept behind the statement. According to how you and others interprets it, saying "goodbye"(sayanara) as a vanity plate is an indirect association towards something with speed. The statement is not the direct meaning towards "speed". Therefore, I would say it isn't a real cocky statement. Honestly, I think it can be interpreted both ways. It depends on ones interpretation beyond the meaning of "sayanara" and relation to speed. Now statements like "UR2SLOW" or "LV2XLR8" is directed to the relation of speed. And "goodbye" is simply a mannered gesture.

I personally like SCIONRA because it has the SCION logo within it. At the same time, I like the Japanese meaning behind it when I intervene with ppl at intersections giving good comments on my car. I respond back with a thanks and leave with my backend saying GOODBYE the scion way. How cool is that. Anyway, that one use to be my 1st choice. I already sent my request in and hope my 1st choice is granted.

Anyway here's another one.
