Default tC vs. Impala....don't ask

Yes, I know, another racing thread. Anyways, someone I know might have raced a new Chevy Impala in his tC. Both were with A/T. The tC won by two car lengths from a roll and was half a car length ahead from a stop. Once again, I don't know what possesed me...er him...to race that Impala it was kind of random. I think the Impala was the 180hp V-6 one.

liar!

No way you could've taken a motorhome. What mods do you have? Are you running racing fuel? I'll bet the motorhome driver missed a shift or something. :D

3,389lbs i think for the base v6 model... 180hp but 205lbft of torque... thats a lot.

the LS model with the 3.8l v6 puts out 200hp and 225lb ft of torqe... this is where we would have a problem i think. 3,466lbs though...

SS model... 240hp and 280lbft.. at 3,466lbs. thats a lot of torque..

(dont ask how the supercharger adds no weight... thats cars.com info..

a tC would have no chance agasint a SS impala tho.. we wont talk price no one pays MSRP for a chevy...

400 and 500lbs more, haha. that is alot. that 3.8l FEELS fast as hell, i had a monte, same thing... that torque just pulls...

Those are about the same specs as my '99 Maxima SE, except the Max has 10 more horsepower and is a lot lighter. And it's a dog. The Impala must be pitiful with that engine.
