Default tC vs. sti

Well today after friday night youth at my church i was heading home around 11, and this white STi drives up and gives me a stare lol i just look him back and pretty much i just drove with him throughout the ride home, went on same conjunction and exit he must be thinkin i was stalking him. Anyways is it ever possible maybe in the near future with enough aftermarket parts a tc can even come close to compare with an sti? I envy every sti owner out there and i would probably take that car over many cars double their price, yeah we were going like 85-90 and i felt bad for my tc hasnt hit 1000 miles yet and i went up to 3.7 k with it.. o well yeah so i was jw if the tc can ever come close to the Sti

Or just take your tC to Jotech in Texas.

I bought my tC for performance, looks and reliability. Not just power. The STi guy can say his is faster, but I still see the tC as the smarter buy, and it's half the price.

Everyone has different need, wants, and budget.
That's why different people buy different cars.

Wrong drive train layout and lackluster engine potential. The tC wouldn't have a chance against an STi.

Well said =)

I need a Toyota Supra Twin Turbo.

I want a Toyota Supra Twin Turbo.

It's the budget thing that really throws a wrench into the previous two statements.

Which is why I'll be picking my tC up on 12/8/04!

Hehehehehe

The sti is an amazing car, but i doubt the tC could ever match up to the sti's performance in all catagories and putting in money tens of thousands to even make it comparable would be rather silly IMO unless you want a car that you can't drive everyday and/or a showcar. However when it comes to style tC beats sti hands down Stock!

Any one seen the pics of the next generation sti? It was in car and driver and you can see it at http://www.modernracer.com/spyshots/spyshots3.html
now that looks good! Whether the next sti will actually look like that im not sure.

yea...I know a way to stomp a STI with a tC...

Rip out the flimsy (joking) lil engine in there now...

Implant a Supra engine in there...

then... :?:

put 2 of the best turbos you can find on the engine...

VOILA...STI is like a gokart now...

i'd take an sti over my tc anyday of the week. but to answer you question you can be faster then the sti, you'll prolly never be able to handle like it, but you could be a stock sti in a race. hell with enough money you could make your tc rwd.

here is a list to get you started

- LSD
- Turbo running about 12-18psi with an exhaust
- Custom Internals
- New rims with better tires

that can get you started providing it is a stock sti
