Default Is there a TC fuse that will stay hot until doors are opend

I am installing a Sirius Sat receiver and I want it to stay on until I open the doors (similar to the headlights). I currently have it connected to the Cig. Ligher fuse but that cuts power as soon as the engine is turned off.

tie it in with a relay to your headlights to stay on until they turn off

^^^wouldn't that mean he would only have his Sat Radio when the headlights were on?? What if he doesn't have his headlights on during the day like me??

To the OP, I'm not sure on a fuse thats hot until you open the door.. The power windows stay on until you open the door but I think they turn off 30 seconds after you remove the key if you don't open your door..

Why not tie into the fuse that the sunroof is on, or the windows? I know I can crack my windows or open the roof when the car is shut off and the door has not been opened yet. Just a thought. I can not say if this is possible without any problems. If someone knows of any reason this can't be done, please post info.

Curious, but doesn't the radio turn off before you open the doors? Why would you want the sat receiver on after the radio is already off?

(disclaimer: I haven't had the stock deck for years, so i can't remember if it stays on until doors or not...)

The lights on the door lock and window switches stay on till you open a door. I dont know what wire controls that though, but you can find it with a multimeter.

+1 I removed mine a week later.
If it does stay on run it to the radios remote turn on line.

there is a way to do this with either 1 or 2 realys. it is very easy. Take a look on the12volt.com under realys and wiring diagrams, you will find it there.
