I was reading through this thread to see if there was much I hadn't discovered about this car before purchase. Is this for real? Could come in real handy if it is because I've driven 5sp maybe 15 minutes total in my 1/4 century of existence...
5sp was really fun and I was instantly spoiled by the response versus auto slushbox.

Any confirmation on this as a 'feature'... you know, just in case? :-p

Cool, just read the whole thread and pretty much knew everything that was mentioned (pertaining to a/t versions of course) However, I did just discover this so called cubby light like 3 nights ago when I went to get my cellphone out of it. My thought was when the heck did you get installed? However, here is something that I did not read in this thread that I think A LOT of people may like Our cars come with the ability to have an in-cabin air filter to filter the passenger air. Works like a champ too. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...592&highlight=
Now we truely do get the luxury of highend Camry's and Lexus's

it was 9pm and i discovered i had a flat when i got home. when i took out the spare i thought to myself this trunk could really use a light in the back. discovered it the next day in the morning . very useful by then. also that the rear seats reclined. eveything with the radio is new to me cause i always have it on aux.

i'm not sure how much of a "feature" it is, but yea, it wont stall out on you if you let it coast in 1st or 2nd. in fact, you dont need to be on flat ground, it still does on a slight incline. i do it all the time.

Is there a way to make it scroll or continue to the next line? I have the one that has iPod and XM.
you can't make it scroll but you can press and hold the text button and it'll show the next 13 characters.

1- It may not come with the filter already but all you have to do is put on in it. It takes like 15mins max as long as you have the filter on hand. See my above post to the link to the thread about doing it. It's and undeclared feature from Scion.

Ease into first gear and then just let go of gas and brake, in safe place obviously. the car will not stall. The fly by wire will feed the motor just enough juice to stay running. And in first it will even pull you up a slight grade.
