Default Thinking about buying a 2005 TC

Okay so I've been shopping around for my first stick shift for a while. Was supposed to get the 2014 but insurance quoted at 160-170 monthly :O
I got a quote for this 05 TC I found for 127 monthly (would this be a good price for a 18 year old 2 years driving no accidents or tickets?)
2005 Scion Tc
So a little about the car it's got 73,xxx miles, 5-speed, Tein-S springs (stock shocks so I plan on getting Tokico Blues first), TRD Exhaust, TRD short throw, Hochkis front strut bar, tinted, and custom purple paint job. They're asking 8k but I got them down to 7k since they're moving next week and need to get rid of it.

The only bad things is that it's been in an accident sold off at auto auction in 07 which was when the current owners bought it and did everything. It looks safe, and when I checked the kbb it said fair condition 7.7k stock.

Also if this is the wrong place to post this I am sorry and please direct me in the right direction.

I feel like you can get a newer one with less miles for the money. When it comes to cars don't jump on the first deal you see. I say if you can wait look for one that is a little nicer. Or have it checked out professionally first.

i would pass, especially if it was in an accident. I only consider buying accident cars if the owner has thorough documentation of the damage and repair.

That's way too much money to spend on an 05 with 70k (plus an accident).

My 09 with 45k (accident free) would fetch me around $10k (on a good day).

Scions don't hold their value at all.
