Default Ticking noise

This past weekend my car started making this ticking noise. It seems to occur more after I have driven my car for awhile. The noise is louder inside my car than when you try to listen to it outside. My car is stock. I have not put anything under the hood except a Tanabe strut bar. I cannot think what it could be. I just got the car in November. The ticking almost sounds like a bad lifter tick, but I'm sure that's not it, but that is a similar noise. When you listen to it with the hood up, it sounds like it is coming from behind the motor. Anyone have any idea what it could be from? I am going to take it to the dealership, but I know that they won't do anything about it because the people there have no idea what they are doing. Last time I took it there, they put 53 psi in my 40 psi tires. Anyway... please help!!!!!

I remember seeing somewhere about the strut bars tapping on something metal in the engine bay.

Well not sure about your strut bar but I have the DC strut bar and i had the same thing happen. There is a little sensor that is on top of the intake. That was the piece tepping on my strut bar. I just put a piece of foam and taped it on there and no more ticking.

It happens with all cars bro.

I heard once it was because of the kind of gasoline we use. But I'm familiar with the ticking, it happens on all the toyotas and Lexus' i've been around.

Nothing to worry about.

EDIT: NM, I thought you only heard it when you parked... I've heard the noise when I'm parked and outside the car... Never inside the car while driving. If you're hearing it while driving, I'd take it to the dealer. If it's the same noise as when you're parked after having driven your car for a bit then no worries.
