Default tips before taking delivery

Well, I should be getting my tC "any day now". Just wondering if you folks had any tips on things I should do/look out for before taking delivery.

I'll definitely be listening for a creaky moonroof, and looking for spots on the glass, and maybe an upside-down cruise control **** :D

I would say.. check the paint.. theres some imperfections on my tC on the front left fender that I didn't notice before.. I didn't think it was because of rocks because its only at that spot with like 5 or more marks that looks like a C..

1. check the A/C. they might need to put in more freon
2. check for any scratches on outside and inside
3. check bottom door sills on both sides. for me, the driver's side sill did not have the plastic piece on correctly. I had to "snap" back in place.
4. check the Head Unit's door to make sure it opens/closes easily

Then drive out of the dealership with a BIG smile....... :D :D

Once you get home, check the air pressure in your tires to make sure they've got the correct pressure. 31psi in the front, 29 in the back is what's recommended in the owner's manual.

Default Etc.

Don't have my tC yet so can't verify that these are needed but from other posts I've read you may wanna do these too.

1. Windex the inside glass to get rid of film. There have been lots of complaints about weird fogging.

2. Check the sunroofs. If there are spots, go use the acid rain solution thing as mentioned in other posts. Listen to overly loud pops too just in case you need them tightened.

3. Be careful with braking and 3rd gear popping out. It hasn't been verified as a real problem (check the posts) but for the sake of safety, just be vigilant in case it happens.

4. Give your car a nice waxing, including the tires with some wheel wax. Just to get a nice protective layer on it and the wheel wax was mentioned for keeping your car clean.

5. Start shopping for more mods. Make it as unique as possible.
