Google is your friend.

Used to live there too. Saw John Denver's plane go into the water.

Carmel Valley Road is one of the greatest drives in the world. The scenery and curves are incredible. Watched a few races at Laguna Seca too!

The funny thing is that you see more pictuers of the car than you do of the scenery. BTW, please go to Carmel and take some pictures there. Also beautiful scenery there too.

I'm using my Nikon D70 to take pix. And to answer some previous questions, that is the OEM kit on the tC. Mista3, I did take pix of the scenery, so here they are

can't be that much, small town, very secluded, not alot going on, dont see much that would jack the price up, plus small town probably small taxes....

You can probably get an apt for under a g a month or maybe a nice house in the 250s range. Hopefully! I am planning a trip out there for this summer now, must check it out!

An apartment, good luck finding 1 in Carmel, and a house? Houses start in Carmel at 750,000. Two years ago when I was driving through, that was the cheapest 1 I saw and it need lots of work but it was on a nice piece of land and lets face it, thats really what your paying for.

Cheapest house in carmel at 600sq feet, $745,000

The weather stays between 50-75 all year round. It rains one month in the year. Almost every day looks just a clear as the previous. Along this strip, Madonna, Clint Eastwood, and John Travolta have homes. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the best in the world, Star Trek movie filmed there (the whale one). Every year they have the Concorse Italiano, Ferrari convention. They have other high end car events through the year as well.

Monterey is very nice, but extremely expensive!
