You got very lucky.

I can't believe you didn't get a ticket though. Reckless endangerment should have been the least of your concerns.

Yes, people deserve second chances, but say the person in the uninvolved tC died. Neither they nor their family get a second chance.

You say you've learned your lesson, and I sure hope to hell you did, because it was an immature thing to do in the first place.

My uncle was killed by someone doing the exact same thing as you, and now my little cousin will never have a father due to stupid testosterone ridden boys thinking their compact import is good enough to race on the road (hint: no car should race on the roads; take it to a track).

But kudos for being a man and owning up to it and knowing you're wrong. I'm just glad no one was hurt.

Were all humans we all make mistakes and we all have our urges. Im pretty sure 75% of the people on this forum have jumped on their cars atleast once. Just this time he caused an accident. Me I worked on my Talon for 2 years put my sweat and blood into it. Your gunna rev it to hear the engine roar knowing its yours, for me the turbo got me. Anyways one day I decided to make a dumb move and saw some guy reving at me while driving in a 35 mph street. Nex thing I know i spin my tires, hit 80 and a car turns out from the median right infont of me. I was ____ed because those 2 years of work were wasted and I realized how stupid i was for doing that. In the end, we all make mistakes. Take it easy on him instead of flaming him you could ask your fellow Scion owner if they are ok.
I agree. You did a very very stupid thing, but I think most of us have done something somewhat similar. I know that I like to punch the gas from time to time, though I try to keep it in a more controlled environment. But as long as you are ok, then it was an ok day, (for you).

But I also agree that if it was me that you ran off the road, I would have beat the $h!t out of you... so all in all, you got extemely lucky.

I really just hope that you learned from this... and don't repeat it.

Well, at least you know you did wrong and are a good sport about it.

Come on people, I am sure that losing his car was enough to make him feel like crap, especially since he knows that it was a stupid stupid thing to do. I don't think he needs your help in feeling like $h!t.

You should do what I do:

Car pulls up next to me at the light and revs, what does Hyghgynx do? Absolutely nothing! I let the revving dumbass take off while I chill. It's not worth it. You should be THANKFUL for still being here with your limbs intact. People talk smack...let them. I just hope you're sincere when you say you won't do it again.

Pretty damn cool to come in here and talk about what happened knowing people will jump on you . You learned . we all do . Since noone was hurt , it is only a VERY expensive lesson . And no ticket . Probably because it was snowing , who knows . Bottom line : You learned and are trying to help others to understand . I give you credit . At 19 , very few of us have enough maturity to stay out of trouble . Lol . I am wayyyy past that but , I am glad you learned . Hope it stays with you forever . And , I loved the post the guy made about Korean cars suck ! TOO FUNNY LOL

I was talking about the peeps posting in this thread, not necessarily the OP.

I must admit; at least he has the cajones to 'fess up about his mistake.

Man, I hope I never have to feel that feeling again, the one in your gut while sitting in your car, knowing that something costly has been ____ed up outside. I was ran off the road last summer by an impatient woman, and I screwed up all the steering mechanisms on the right side, and my passenger fender/side skirt. Obliterated my rims too, which is why i'm rolling on some Drags now.

Hey newt0n, 3 hours and 37 minutes more and you'll be the record holder for the title of the most flamed SL member within 24 hours in a single post. Keep it up.
