Or maybe
1) making a conservative estimate
2) just uninformed

"Retard" in this context seems a little harsh.

sheesh... people make mistakes, give the guy a break brownfield.

I would personally go with the 350Z. If you can afford it, it's one hell of a car. the six speed gearbox is very smooth and easy to engage. the power comes on strong and smoothly. And that daytona blue pearl color *drool*

Hmm I say get the Z or get the tC with an SC to save on car payments and insurance. Say hello to high gas prices to both!

Insurance won't care if you're Supercharged.

The hell they won't. When you wreck your next tC, they aren't going to cover the cost of something they don't know about.
Actually, Geico doesn't care. I called them before having my s/c installed to see what impact it would have. And voila, they don't care. If I total it, they will not include the cost of the supercharger in my settlement, so that's on my own, but they did not raise my rates or change my risk assessment, nor would they consider my not telling them fraud.

I can only say what Geico told me, and can't speak for other insurance companies, but call and ask to be safe.

IF I could I would get the Z, better all around car. As for the back seats you only need the passenger seat for your girl, unless you could talk three girls into getting in you car. If you can then you need a van haha. Get the Z

if i was in your position i'd get the civic si. it's got plenty of performance for the money.

as far as your choices of either the Z or tC....... i don't care too much on buying another tC but the Z is a bit expensive and besides, i'm bias for toyota and honda makes...

i guess go for the Z. it's got the best exhaust note on the streets stock!!!

I wouldnt go putting the money towards the S/C and throwing mods on it that will void your warrantee. You may want to take a look at the "Calling All Supercharger" thread before you go ahead and get the S/C.
If it was me I would go with the Z.. It is an all around better car. So what if it doesnt have a back seat..
You will be able to get abour 240hp without doing some MAJOR mods to the S/C and you will still be out of warrantee. It will get you about 180-190hp stock, add an exhasut and intake and you will see right about 210 maybe a little less.
Add a pulley and you will see 230hp and add a Header and maybe 240... but once you add the intake you have voided the warrantee. So inside of warrantee you can see about 200hp...
