Default traded in my Tc

So I traded in my Tc for the new 07 Tundra It was a great car and fun to drive but since having my own house I'm always in need of a truck. So I traded up for the Tundra DC nautical blue with the TRD package. Great Truck thus far. Just want to say thanks to everyone for all the posts and info you shared..........I wonder who has my car now and if they're having as much fun with it as I did???

Nice truck and best of nice color choice...

on the other hand I dunno but the lancer looks like it's trying to resemble the tC front end

Good pick on the Tundra. It pretty big and pretty fast. Did you get the 5.7 or the 4.7???

Nice upgrade.
I'd do it if I could afford it, that thing is a gas guzler.

Yeah, I'm considering a Civic. I'm not sure if I'd be too happy with that, though. :\

Nice upgrade. Trucks are nice.

Don't trade for the new lancer your upgrade options are no where near as great as the tC.

GaramaZed, Civic, or Civic SI?

I have the 4.7L. I saw no need for the 5.7L since I don't plan on towing anyone's house or a 50ft yacht. Gas isn't really a concern for me. My work is a 12 mile round trip. I mean it would be on long trips but luckily I lead a boring life and don't travel far. So boring is affordable. About the lancer, I dunno about Mitsubushi. My brother in-law's mom works at a Mitsubushi factory and she gets a free car every 2 years and on about 3 of the last 4 cars she's had something would go wrong with them at 1.5 yrs or right when she was due for another one. Maybe that's why it's every 2 years who knows.

Most likely Civic, either LX or EX. I like the Si and all, but the premium gas is a @$#!%. I know it's a downgrade features-wise, but I like the 1.8 Honda engine over the larger 2.4 tC/Camry engine. Relatively they deliver similar power and all, but the Civic supposedly gets greater gas mileage (EPA 30-40, but that's 2006; I haven't seen the latest 2007, new ratings yet).

But there is one thing I really don't like about it... the interior! It's so, bleh! The dash and seats remind me of riding in a grandparent's Buick! And it doesn't come in a hatchback model?!?!?! And oh Lord-eh, don't even get me started on the two-tier instrument panel...

Yeah, it's just so bland inside. But great engine, though!

Great Engine my butt! How about a weak @$$ engine. That car is impossible to get up to 75mph and it sucks on hills. Woooooh.

VTEC power. 30/40 MPG (of 2006 EPA). And... Honda?

'Nuff said for me!

Dude, get your facts straight. The EX and LX have no power at all even if it is VTEC. Have you test drove them yet? I have and they are SLOWWWWWW as hell. The only one that has power is the SI. I've driven plenty of cars that have VTEC. Matter of fact Me and my sisters boyfriend have turbo'd his RSX Type-R. Thats right, it has an engine swap to the Japan RSX (Integra Type R) and its now turbo'd dynoing at well over 500hp. They thing is a beast to drive. Now thats VTEC power with a turbo. Not the Civic EX. Do some research. The Scion has it all over the civic minus the gas mileage...but who cares, the TC engine is stronger. I get over 30mpg in my TC. Something tells me we have a trader on the site who goes by the name of COUGH........ GARMAZED.

And just for your info, the LX and EX have only 140hp SOHC engine and my lugnuts on my wheels have more torque than this car. And this is why it has better gas mileage: CAUSE IT HAS NO POWER AT ALL. Go test drive one if your don't believe me or anyone else. This is why I see all old ladies driving the new civics.

Hmm maybe the tc just doesnt fit his needs, he's lookiin for better gas mileage than tc but if you want a very good gas mileage go hybrid not civics. If you're lookin for power not civics either not even SI.. VTEC seems like an overrated thing that hondas has been bragging. And for the OP, good choice man at least you traded your tc for something that suits you needs...

Troll alert?

I'm not trying to race or anything, it's just a commuter car with style. Not everybody races here, ya know... :\

As for the 1.8L in the Civic's, they are plenty of power to get around daily, and just as much as the Scion. Some reviews have stated the 0-60 MPH time of a stock (5-speed) tC at 7.6 seconds. Respectively, the 1.8L Honda has posted similar times (7.99 seconds) in the same category. Plus minus a few on both side, they are both similarly 'quick' vehicles.

Believe me, when I knew I was buying a new car four years ago, I started my research. So are my facts straight? I have no doubt about that.

Sorry if I'm taking this too seriously for you.

Wow... just wow...

Anyways, NocBob... I am glad you stayed in the fam, and I wish you luck with your truck and your house. I hope you liked you Scion as much as I like mine.
