^^^ Just as i mentioned, tc doesnt meet you needs so you're going for civic. Your choice may not sound right for others but its your own decision that matters. One thing you consider though when you want daily driver non race car, you want low end torque more than horsepower. You want a greater pull in low rpms, its just obvious that you dont rev high on daily driving..

wow, this dude is calling me a troll. Have you test drove a civic yet? seems not? Anyways, im not trying to start a fight, but in your first post, you make it sound like the civic VTEC is awesome and better when in reality it is not. If you want less power and a better mpg, then get the civic, but dont claim that the civic is better and hs a better engine, and dont call people trolls dumb@$$. I never called you a name so back off. I just stated my point and the facts. The civic is slower, uglier inside and out but does get better gas mileage at the sacrifice for power and torque. Good luck bro.

So i still take it that you have not driven the civic yet cause you keep avoiding the question? Right?.....and im not sure how you did research on the new civic 4 years ago considering it wasn't even out yet dumb@$$. Now whos the TOOL? Well im done talking to and about this clown since he clearly has no idea what he's talking about. Ask anyone on this site about the EX and they'll say its junk except the SI. Anyways, good trade on the Tundra and keeping it in the family. Its a beautiful truck man. Hope you like it. Keeping it in the family unlike someone here....

I like the tC, it's a great car. I'm just saying that the Civic is appealing also.

If some people were open to the big picture of things and not narrow-minded (cough, cough), they would realize they are both great cars for different reasons, and that there is no perfect car.

Yeah the Honda Civic is a great car also. Very economical and I think it looks good. I've never been in one and I know torque is lacking but it is a much much much more economical car than the tC.

It will last long and it's a great car.

I don't like a 4 door too much but I think the coupe looks nice.

Lookswise, if they brought the current-gen hatchback (from the UK) to here... I'd be sold immediately. Let me grab a pic:

It looks like it's years ahead of the rest of us...

those new Tundras are very nice, I drive one for work... my company is sweet we have a Corolla, Tacoma, Camry Hybrid, Rav-4, and 3 Tundras... for a while I was driving a crew cab Silverado and I felt like someone was using a jackhammer in the truck when I went over anything uneven, it sucked so bad... then the next day I hopped in the Tundy and I was like aaaaahhhhhhhh nice.... good choice my friend

first of all dont let this thread become a grudge match on whether the civic is a better car or if its the same as the tC or whatever the hell youre trying to prove, it started out as a guy letting us know he got a tundra, which i think is a beautiful truck. its just so huge and monstrous, ____in tight. Have fun with your new toy man

The Tundra is one of our choices for another car. The other car my wife likes is the Lexus IS-F.

hondas I've driven are reliable cars to a fault .. easy to heel & toe, ergonomic controls, as if "on rails" handling & easy to modify. I like many others love Honda/Acura for their innovation.

yea the do get better mpg, but with smaller displacement Tc could, too.

Honda looks ok on paper, but reality sets in .. they lack refinement & especially engine torque.

[Toyota & others know the need 2 balance or emphasize 2 torque ]

It's more than just havin fun wrenchin & customizing thing on the Honda .. they have a lot to be desired.

THINK, maybe there's a reason why so many Hondas go with(bigger) better engine swaps!!!
