pretty much that's the draw back. I'm betting the SC will be the cause of the problem. Toyota's SC (a few of them) hasn't really been on the EPA's good list.

Never thought Engine immobilizer would spell "Engine Immobiliser" in Australia

I must say...that could easily be Toyota's answer to the WRX & EVO. Damn Aussies getting all the goods, damn EPA.

That blown 3.5L makes the aurion the most powerful FWD production car in the world.

"...That makes the TRD Aurion the world's most powerful front-wheel-drive model and the most powerful normally aspirated six-cylinder engine in its class. And it's pretty quick, too, with an official 0-62-mph acceleration time of 6.09 seconds and a standing quarter-mile of about 14.2 seconds."

A supercharger isn't consider a NA. It's FI. The folks over at edmunds don't know squat about cars.

Ah! You have to use 98 octane no matter what.

I just realize its looks like a Camry on the side.

By the way, its not a Toyota. It's marked as TRD :D Kind of like Scion Toyota.

cars in australia are expensive dave! XPRESSCION, dont you see the Toyota emblem on the front and the back? all TRD did was take a TOYOTA Aurion and put TRD touches on it and call it a TRD Aurion.

Yes! Try that first link on Yahoo Auto front page. You stroll down the new car box...you'll see Toyota then TRD. Click onto TRD; you'll only see this car.

When I went to New Zealand last year, I rented a car and their gas was about $5 (US) a gallon there. And I never saw 98 octane over there either. We complain way too much on the price of gas here. Aussies/New Zealanders are used to paying a price for petrol/fuel.
