Default Trouble Connecting 2010 XB Radio

Hello all. I purchased a 2010 XB radio for my 2006 TC and can't for the life of me get the aux input that's located under the center arm rest to work for the life of me. All functions work including the steering wheel controls, but the aux input does not. The back of my 2006 unit looks like this:

and the back of the 2010 unit looks like this:

The issue is that the lower left wiring harness that is in my car (as an input to the head unit in the first picture) doesn't fit anywhere on the 2010 head unit. Also, the harnesses on the 2010 image pictured center right and USB are left without inputs.

How can I attach the stock harness in my car to the 2010 unit and still use my stock aux port located under the arm rest? I am not looking to use an aftermarket aux cable that floats directly from the head unit.

I am capable of creating a harness or soldering direct connections from my car's harnesses if need be. Thanks!

from 2010 onwards, scion switched to new USB and aux cable inputs. the old ports will no longer work because the wiring is different now.
you would need a new factory aux and USB cables to get it to work. the newer AUX and USB are on the same plug but use 2 different cables, or figure your own setup.

There is a cable that goes from the radio USB in (grey plug) to the new USB/AUX port and there is a short cable that goes from the new USB/AUX port to an open plug.
there is a second cable that plugs into that and then continues into the AUX input on the radio

I would guess if you could figure out how to rewire the pins from the new factory AUX plugs into the old AUX port it would work again?

That's essentially all I'm trying to do. I cannot find pinout diagrams of where aux ground, left and right are for either of the two head units. If I had both of these it would just be a matter of swapping pins.

After searching some more- if I can presume that the wiring harnesses are the same between the tc and the xb for years 2006 and 2010, then I have to move a single ground pin.
For reference for anyone else:

From the above images, the audio shielding line is different between the 2006 and 2010 head units.

edit- this line is primarily used to sense if a phone or something else is connected to the aux input located under the arm rest. Without it connected to the right pin on the 2010 deck, the deck never thinks anything is plugged into it.
