I got in my car tonight to make a cold start. When I turned the key all the way I only heard a very quiet humming sound from the engine bay ... no clicks or anything. I did this several times in a row and finally about the 5th time, I turned it and held it for about 4 seconds listening to this slight hum and the car started as normal.

I don't think it's fuel line issue because the car runs fine... this issue was definetely a security system, battery, starter, problem?

How sensitive are the security chips in the keys? I can't remember what position the rest of my keys were in, but I didn't feel anything abnormal or have to adjust the rest of my keys to get it to start so I don't think the chip was blocked as advised in the manual.

thats wierd....my auto dont do that...

you should go to the dealer and tell them....

when you insert your key, your flashing security light, which is right by your hazards button, should turn off. check that out. if this happens again, take it to the dealer pronto

Ahhhh I never noticed that before.... that's for that pointer. At least I can diangnose it if it happens again.
