Default trunk hydralics

Anyone ever have problems with the hydraulics on their trunk on a Tc? The trunk won't stay up, it looks like the hydraulics have the reverse function now i.e. suction not extension. My car is still under warranty, but Scion would have to order the parts and charge me for parts and labor...sucky. Anyone have any suggestions?

So why is this not a warranty issue??? It's not a preventive maintenance item. I have an 05 and never had any problems.

They should not be charging for for parts or labor. You need to call them back and demand they fix it under warranty. If they refuse then you need to contact Scion Corp.

Unless you put a big heavy aftermarket wing on or did something else that would cause them to fail, they should fix it free under warranty.

Back on topic; go to anther dealership if possible. The current dealership sounds like they are trying to take advantage of you.
