question is do YOU think it is worth 3200?

i personally wouldn't pay that much, but i'm trying to do a DIY turbo kit fab...so i have limits to stay within....

I'm not a hater, but $3200 for 0-60 in 11 seconds? I dunno.

Also, was that an auto? If so that takes away half the fun of it.

Oh well, back to my tC forums.

Auto? A little close to 7K RPMs (i guess FI does this huh  ). Took awhile to shift even for an auto. When I'm slightly full throttle on my stock auto, it goes to 4.5K or so, then drops down to 3.5K, then goes up to 4K and back to 3.5K at 80MPH. I guess I;ve taught my ECU well

On all these videos you have to understand. I have a full tank of gas (over 50 pounds more weight than we usually drive at), My dad which weighs 200lbs, and the fact that turbo wasn't like it usually runs. So over all the car is at least half a second slower in those videos. But this one time i've timed my 0-60 and it was 7.3 seconds. So it just tells you how off those videos are. I'll make more but i'll make sure there are the best before i post, so you guys can see how much fun this thing actually is. NEXT WEEKEND NEW VIDEOS! STAY TUNED!

Just curious as to what kind of fuel economy you're seeing there.

If it is 22 MPG or better I might consider the turbo kit

My down pipe blew a gasket, and the car was running crazy rich because the o2 sensor was getting false readings. I went on vacation like this (drove with the windows down... had no choice) and I drove over 500 miles... I averaged around 25mpg running richer than Bill Gates' bank account.

Off boost, you should get pretty close to stock fuel consumption... so If you're not hammering it, you're not hurting your fuel economy.
