To those of you with C.A.I.:
Exactly how is it routed?

Is there any body panel cutting or repositioning to be done? I wouldn't think so, since the TRD intake is C.A.I. But I don't see enough room under the hood to put one in.

Also, my friend and I were comparing cars the other night--he has a Celica--and we noticed my car has what look like mounting holes for a full engine cover, similar to the Celica. Is a cover available?[/i]

the CAI routes where the stock airbox pipe leads toward the fender... and yes there is an engine cover available... in carbon fiber at racingsolution.com

Does the engine cover do anything or is it just for aesthetics? I wouldn't want to pay to add even a little weight and restrict my access to what's underneath unless there was a reason to do it.

just for looks to dress up the engine bay... i doubt it would be significantly lighter then stock engine cover becuase its just a piece of plastic

Your engine already has a plastic engine cover. I believe it weighs like 10oz lol. Won't effect anything.
