Upon replacing the current tC...
I was thinking about this the other day, and since we have some key people who check this website out from Scion, I hope, I think this important topic should be brought up:
Upon re-styling the next generation tC, shouldn't this next generation SLIGHTLY resemble our currently designed tCs? The next generation tC should not entail just a face-lift, but a complete re-do. This would cost Scion more money, but then us older generation tC owners would be proud to roll in a design that is genuine to its original, whereas the newer designed bodies would be way different and in their own way unique...

Ya but upon having a 3.5, then you're gonna be hating your old tC and wanna get rid of it...
what I'm saying is, MAKE THE NEXT TC NOT THAT SUPER-DUPER BETTER THAN THE CURRENT tC; that way the rest of us will be happy with what we still have...

please people don't turn this into another "what i wish came stock with the tC" thread!
I see what you're saying king. Make it just like another "generations" car like the eagle/eclipse/talon, the supra, the celica, the skyline and so on and so forth

the tC replacement is currently working from the foundation of the Fuse concept.
it'll be a makeover for sure... nothing miniscule in the "face-lift" department
it should be fine.

yeah I agree, but I don't think they should completely redesign it. Just make a few changes in the look would be enough in my opinion.
Civics for example, the only difference in the 7th Gen (01-03) and the 8th Gen (04-06) is the headlights, grill, taillights, everything else is pretty much the same, except for the SI

I'm curious to see what they've done with the next gen xB. Now im not up with all the news on it this is based on just what i know. If its separating its self from the bB entirely and become its own car not just a left hand bB, couldnt it be possible that the types of changes or the amount of change would give us a hint as to how much work they'd put into a new tC? the xB and tC are both selling like hot cakes so toyotas reluctance or willingness to change a perfectly good car in the xB will tell us if they're feeling the same with the tC. Thats just my opinon alot of you probably feel very different.
