Exclamation Upper grill problem...

ok so i have noticed rather at work, parking it after 3o minutes of driving my upper grill likes to try to run away... it is a stock grill and i never wrecked it in anyway for it to be acting this way... so i tried several things to keep it in place i even tried putting my knee on the bumper and pressing it in from the inside but it still pops out.. it is aggravating.. i took it out once already to see what the deal was and everything seems ok. the lower part of it will click into place but... moments later unclick then later i wind up sticking my fingers in holes and popping it all back into place....

Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolve this? i have no clue how or why it is doing this so........ any advice is useful and or helpful

ive had the same problem.Mine seemed like the bumper warped a little bit or something. To fix this, i went on the inside of the bumper and jammed small pieces of wood (thats all i had) under the tabs on the bumper that normally latch on to the grill. I havnt had a problem since. I hope that helps, if you dont get exactly what im talking about PM me. ill send some pics or something.

I have gone to super glueing it in. Trying to find some cheap VRDs so I can take out the stock grill and epoxy those in.

Ok so right after I posted on here I discovered that I still had my box my fogs came in. So I looked inside and found out there were these cheese puff like stuff inside so I took them and wedged them in there I'll see how it works out and post back again. They seem as if it'll hold pretty good. Plus I took another look at the grill the holes that connect it to the bumper are broken so that explains why it won't hold. But if this stuff holds I can save some money up and get a new one

HAHA you were right the popcorn things evaporated so now i am stuck and I don't have any wood pieces laying around i'll have to find some from a pallet at work tonight to make them work. would try zip ties but not sure on how I would do that.
