Default V-LEDS Break Lights

Can anyone think or a reason why replacing my tail lights with http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481 would cause it to blow my fuse every time i press the break?

I currently have LEDs for my break light and works perfectly fine. I can get it to turn on with the parking lights with the V-LED bulbs, but as soon as I press the break it blows the fuse. Any ideas?

Thanks

not too sure if they can be installed backwards but that might be it. i think i have also read that you might need a resistor since leds take less power and throws off the timing but since you had leds already, dont think that is it.
is this on stock tail lights?

I blew a few fuses trying to make sure it was in the right way hehe. Yah, its the stock taillights. I'm going crazy trying to figure out what could be wrong. I'm thinking of trying a slightly bigger fuse and seeing if that works.

if you do that make sure to not leave it on for too long, might burn up the wires. feel the wires if they get hot.
the bulb might be using more power than that of regular bulbs. doubt it since its leds and they dont use much. try it in another tc if you have access to one

heres one sure fire way to fix it, dont use your brakes, use your e-brake to slow you down

i thought the same thing. what about trying it with the regualr bulbs. if those dont blow the fuse then its the leds since the stock ones draw more power
