I swear I've read this before on this forum that someone was accusing the VRD site of this very same thing.

Oh yeah, I remember that thread. The one thing they had in common was that they all purchased from Vertex.

im not neccesarily accusing VRD, it was just convenient timing. it coulda been VRD and it coulda been Paypal, it coulda be a list of different things. but it just so happened that timing led to VRD, and they happen to have an insecure website. but ill try all those things u guys have mentioned. but u can also pay VRD through their paypal account if u choose so. but i will contact VRD, just to let them know what happened as a warning

It's pretty safe to say VRD is the culprit. Given all the others who have had the same problem after shopping at VRD, it would be too much of a coincidence if it was anything else.

Nevermind I dont know much about there fraud protection but they have some protection award or something on the bottom of there site.

update..lol this is an on going investigation..I checked out those stupid logos (awards) whatever you like to call them but those things are so easy to get. All you have to do is put your information in and pay a small fee. Dumb, the disclaimers say specifically that they dont do nothing.

" Authorize.Net does not guarantee, represent or warrant the performance of the merchant or that the merchant will securely or accurately process all of its transactions through the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway, or complies with applicable federal or state data protection laws."

All it does is show that the member is an active seller.

the glass is thick but, it can still break.

Mine just broke off on the side, didn't effect the sealing of the light at all though, just looks like a broken tooth.
